Cristina Coro (American b. Austin, TX 1969, lives Austin) received her MFA in Sculpture and her BFA in Visual Arts, both from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Spain. In 2003, Coro returned to her native city of Austin and obtained her art education certification with the University of Texas at Austin and is currently teaching visual arts at an urban public high school. Coro is the recipient of the 2018 Bill Griffith Art Educator Fellowship from Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, TN. In April 2018, she was part of the exhibit, “Diagonal”, at Big Medium Gallery in Austin, TX.
